Art you can afford, and customise
February 25, 2009
Everyone likes to have the finer things in life, such as a nice home, a fancy car, even the best bread and the premium beer. However, often we have to cut back on things due to financial reasons, so sacrifices have to be made, such as holidaying in the UK instead of Spain, of buying a used car instead of a new one.
One such perk that many people like to have in their lives is quality art in their home. Something that looks great displayed on the wall, and acts as a talking point for when your friends and relatives come round, can be a real boost in your life. However art, just like all of the finer things in life, can be really expensive.
It doesn’t have to cost the earth though. Instead, you could create your own art, cheaply, using your own photographs. You can take photos of your friends and family, of your pets or your holidays, and have them turned into canvas prints to create your own art. By printing your own photos to canvas you’re making art yourself, out of your own pictures. This works out as being much cheaper than buying an artist’s work, and you get the advantage of the art being unique and personalised to you.
