A nativity on canvas
December 19, 2008
At Christmas most school children take part in a nativity play in their school. It’s a joyous time where the kids get to sing and act on stage, enjoying themselves and performing in front of the parents. These times are very special as children grow up so fast and these memories fade just as fast.
You can take pictures of the nativity play to make sure you remember it, or you could even use a video camera and record the play so that you can watch it back later, or even watch it back years later and embarrass your children!
Another idea is to take photos of the nativity play and have them turned into beautiful canvas prints. This is a great idea because you’re creating artwork out of your children’s nativity play, making a great scene that is reminiscent of an Italian art master, showing a religious scene.
You could even bring the canvas print out each year to use it as a Christmas decoration, adorning your home with an image of your children’s nativity play each year at Christmas.
